Lena Brazin (b.1985, Kosice, Slovakia) currently lives and works in London, UK. Brazin studied at Turps Art School, a contemporary painting studio course led by established painters in London, UK, and graduated last year in 2019 after 2 years of an intensive practice-focused programme. She has been painting since 2010 and her evolution as a painter has been primarily self-taught often influenced by alternative ways of mentoring. She started to exhibit her work in 2016 after her move to the UK and after 5 years of living and painting in France. In the most recent years, Brazin exhibited at several group exhibitions in the UK and has been shortlisted in numerous art competitions. Her constantly evolving, bold and unique language has been pushing boundaries in figurative and narrative painting and her oeuvre is represented in private collections across the globe.
